Alice and Friends

 The PM has received more photos of Alice! She is too adorable!

(and turning silver around the Schnauze - which, in case you don't know - is 'muzzle' in German - and that of course, is why we are called Schnauzers)

We have not heard from Amy's new People Mommy, I heard the PM say that she was going 

to phone and find out how she is and ask for a photo.

Alice is living in Wolmaransstad and the PM has received a photo of her.

I can see her eyebrows are beginning to change colour, perhaps her beard will also
soon start to turn white. Her new PM promised more photos.
I think she is going to look like me ;)

Their new 'Daddy' reported that they have been accepted by "The Bird"

The PM changed phones and unfortunately lost the message that the photo was attached to.

Departures and Arrivals....

We have had more news from the Durban area, this time about our other two boys.

Andy (the Sir) and Axel (the Count) are having a Royal life!

(Handsome like their Dad - even if I say so myself)

As mentioned before - the PM took them to Durban about three weeks ago. No wonder they look so relaxed and at home!

Turns out I was right about the suspicious looking travel cages that I referred to earlier this week!

On Wednesday the PM wizzed our Abby and Amy away in the wee hours of the morning.

They traveled by air from Durban - Amy went to East London, while Abby went all the way to Cape Town.

The PM made a collage of the beautiful photos sent by Abby's new PM.

Abby looks so happy! Eddy sure is a handsome young chap.

(How I wish our PM would take a good look at these photos and learn about *letting-dogs-sleep-on-the-bed*)

My lovely wife Lulu and I would like to say thank you to all the new People Parents for keeping 

in touch and sending these lovely photos. 

The PM just had a call from Amy's new PM.

Amy was fetched from East London to her new home in Queenstown today. The new PM is smitten with Amy and I also happened to overhear talk about *sleeping-on-the-bed*... lucky kids!!!

We miss the children very much but fortunately still have Alice with us until Sunday.

Busy times

Oh boy - so much has happened since our last post!

We have had a very busy time indeed.

We even had to spend a whole week away from home while the PM went off to spend time with her children in East London.

We subsequently had the opportunity to spend the week with my birth parents. Our three boys left home at that time.

 Here I can be seen explaining in detail what it means to be adopted by a new family. I also briefed them on how to chew shoes and explained in detail, the art of destroying a flower bed in a few minutes flat!

Unfortunately the PM overheard my conversation and gave them the dreaded 'People Speech'. 

They all pretended to listen very intently while she carried on and on about how to be a 'good doggie' and all that people-jazz. 

Meantime my lovely wife Lulu lay quietly in the corner pretending not to hear a word. She was probably remembering the fun we had chewing the left shoe of the PM's brand new Havaianas and right one of her Dubai Crocs. Not to mention the time we got hold of her brand new blouse and played tug with it on the lawn!

In case you have forgotten: "The PM" was formerly the 

"People Mommy"

 At the end of January she was promoted to the position of 

"Puppy Manager"

Although I heard her complain that lately she feels more like the 

"Poo-pee Manager"

I wonder why she would say a thing like that ??

I asked the PM to make up a few collages to show you what beautiful children we produce:

 "Showtime" is above and the one below is "Playtime"

Just like me at that age, they love the noisy home made toys the best.

And then there were three!

What really worries me is that the PM arrived home last week with two travel boxes. She has placed them in the play area, presumably for the girls to get accustomed to.

Here is our firstborn child and my favourite girl Amy- happily dreaming of flying off to Queenstown to live with her new family.

Amy is the spitting image of my lovely Lulu when she was this age!

No guessing why she is my favourite... 

We often share a little nose-to-nose moment.   

 Lulu also has a favourite - Little Abby!  Here mother and daughter share a moment. Abby will be flying to Cape Town to live with a family who already have a Miniature Schnauzer called Eddy.

Lucky Eddy for getting such a beautiful and dainty little companion!

Our last-born little boy Alfie has gone to live in Durban with his new family. He is going to have a great time playing with these gorgeous little girls! Thank you to the new PD (People Daddy) for sending us the photo! We look forward to receiving more in time to come,

 We would love to see how our boy is doing!

(I just know he will grow up to be as handsome as what I am)

Andy and Axel were both adopted by a loving couple in the Durban area.

As soon as we receive a photo I will ask the PM to post it to the blog.

 Our only black-faced little Alice will be staying a little while longer to console our hurting hearts.

Lulu's mother is also black, so Alice takes after her granny.

Between you and me: I have watched the PM swoon over our children. I just know that she is not going to be happy to see the last puppy go.

I guess we will just have to start planning a new litter☺ 

Growing fast!

Today the PM decided to do a collage of a selection of photos taken over the last week. You can clearly see that the PM is not the only one that is smitten! That's me with the big beard checking in on the kids and handing out kisses. Top left is Lulu feeding the six pack this morning - see how they've grown? The PM was quite mad at me yesterday. I went chasing after something in the garden and somehow got covered with 'Forget me nots".  I tried my best  to remove them myself by biting at them, but obviously that only made matters worse. 

Needless to say, my legs are now shaved and so is my tail and my tummy. I am thankful that she left my beautiful beard and eyebrows.... and also that it is not winter now!

The Six-Pack

 When I mentioned the *f a t* word in the previous post, I meant it!

My poor little Lulu was HUGE. (and beardless for hygienic reasons)

Our first puppy was born just after 1pm on 30 January 

Shortly after 3pm and we had a six-pack!


3 February. Four days old, weighed, named and collared, or should that be 'coloured'?
The PM devised a puppy crate with mattress and fitted sheets. See if you can find all six puppies? ;)

9 February. Lulu giving me a look that says 'don't you think our kids are gorgeous?'

17 February. The puppies have grown at an alarming rate.. 

Lulu now finds it more practical to sit while they are feeding.

I am so proud of my not-so-little-anymore-family. All are healthy, shiny and beautiful.

BIG news in 6 tiny packages

I have been away from the blog for a while because I have been a VERY busy dogman since the wedding.

Keeping a wife happy is not for sissies.

With honeymoon babies on the way Lulu obviously demanded my constant attention.

BUT..........

Today it is my pleasure to announce the birth of our first litter!

The PM did a great job as 'midwife' today!

PM was previously short for 'People Mommy', but today I officially promote her to 'Puppy Manager'.

She assisted my lovely Lulu during the delivery of  our SIX puppies.

The little paw in the photo above is hardly 10mm from side to side and the weight of one pup is 155grams.

Here is Lulu with our brand new babies. Tired but quite content.

I have to be the proudest doggy-dad in the world!  Thank you Lulu-L♥ve!

If the PM has her way, they will be registered as ....... wait for it......

Because most of Lulu's time will be spent caring for the puppies,
I will make use of the opportunity to show you more photos soon!
(Phew - free time at last!)

While pregnant, Lulu used to lie stretched out on her back,
while I had to lick her tummy - a full time job, I kid you not! 

I don't think it is quite safe to mention the word * F-A-T *  just yet, but once I have plucked up enough courage I will show you a photo that the PM took this morning of Lulu in all her 'rounded' glory - shortly before the pups were born!  Until then, I prefer to stay on the safe side.... 

Happiness

This is the People Mommy again... 

The happy couple have returned from honeymoon.

They spent most of the evening sleeping nose-to-nose and paw-to-paw.

Hopefully life will soon be back to normal and Buddy will share
with you the bliss of married life....

The Wedding

Under the given circumstances, the PM is quite sure that Buddy will have no objection to her writing on his blog ...*grin*
