January 1, 2015 (Dixi)

Dixi was not only the last-born puppy but also left home last.
We had the privilege of her having her with us until the Saturday after Christmas.
Dixi has moved to Ermelo and has a new people sister and brother.
Exciting moments... meeting new friends.
What fun they will have growing up together.

We look forward to receiving regular updates and photos :)

January 1, 2015 (Decker)

Meet Frankie -  previously known as Decker.
He used to make the PM giggle often with his antics and she used to call him our little clown.
He has moved into the hearts and home of a family in Durban North and  has a new Schnauzer brother as well as a young people Brother.
Meeting his new people brother,
Frankie kept his cool and behaved well during the introduction

Meeting brother Joey
The new people Mommy reports that they play non-stop.

Ho Ho Ho :)

Joey has a new "Co-pilot"
(Frankie's new people mommy sent us this photo this morning)

January 1, 2015 (Dozer)

Our Dozer now lives in Ballito with his new people Mommy and his new people 'brother'.
The two boys have great fun and play a LOT

This bed is occupied by a Schnauzer with attitude....

...but not for long before it all melts away into dreamland.
Nothing better than a comfy bed to get cozy in after a 'hard' day's play :)

January 1, 2015 (Dusty)

Coco (previously Dusty) has found a loving home in the Durban area.
What a beautiful bed she has.
We are hoping to receive more photos from her new people Mommy

January 1, 2015 (Diezel)

Our handsome little prince Diezel has a new first name too: Benjamin - Benji for short.
Special moments as Benji meets his new parents

Benji's 'nephew'. How great that our boy is now an uncle :)

Happiness is.... loving parents and all those new toys
After play time comes nap time and time to snuggle

Benji sharing morning cuppa with new mommy

Mommy helping Benji to test the water.
How gorgeous is that Christmas bandana

Benji was born with a small tuft of white hair on his forehead. Most unusual but so special.
The hair grew longer and fell out before he left home

January 1, 2015 (Daizy)

Our Daizy has been renamed Gizela by her new owners.
She also has a new friend called Günter.

Meeting Günter for the first time. He preferred to look away :)
Must be hard when an only dog suddenly has to share what used to be 'your space'
Oh, I remember so well how Aunty Muffin reacted when I first arrived

Somebody's nose is out of joint about the new puppy on his Mommy's lap :)
Gizela all stretched out and in dreamland.

Spending the first day of 2015 on the beach.
Mmm . . .  did we hear whispers about sleeping in new Mommy's bed at night?

A few 'baby' photos:

January 1, 2015 (Dawson)

Well, was I pleased to overhear the PM mention to her sister that the photos have been sorted and are ready to post. We have had very busy times - not only has the PM had her hands full with her regular job but seven babies in the house is rather time consuming.  We now have an empty nest and the PM as well as my lovely wife Lulu and I are quite content that our off-spring have all found wonderful homes.
The PM has compiled a small collage for each puppy and will also share with you all the beautiful photos that we have received from their new homes.  The PM has decided to post the photos in the order that the puppies were born - Dawson being first:
Dawson getting to know his new bed in his new home!

Having fun with his new People Mommy
Quite exhausted after a hard day at work with Dad

November 1 to 8, 2014

All dressed up in the PM's lovely collars. (see our page on Puppy ID collars)
Good old TD is also in the picture again to show how the puppies have grown.
Dusty really loves the soft toys. Most of the toys used to belong to Aunty Muffin who passed away last year at the age of 16. The PM was crying this week. It would have been Aunty Muffin's birthday on the 7th. The PM still misses her very much. I curled up on her feet to try and make her feel better.

Dawson saying "I love my shishter Daizy"

Mini-me's at play. They really love their new enlarged territory and play vigorously.
The PM jokes and says that the house belongs to the Schnauzers and that she is a working guest. Especially at puppy time :)

All fall down. The PM loves to watch the puppies play and then suddenly settle down to rest.
Even old Foxy looks worn out.

First introduction to Hills Science Diet - mmmmmm. Loving it.

We are SO proud of the puppies that are using the artificial grass to potty on so early in life..
Well - mostly. The PM has had a few surprises. Like a number 2 placed neatly in the water feeder.
I, of course have been giving them 'the Speech' from day one.

Sunday was the puppies' first time in the outside play area.
While others are curious, Dawson's expression says it all: Are you going to leave us HERE??

Dozer looks out at the big wide world. Schnauzer pose perfected.
Makes me so proud that I could just burst out of my fur.

October 12, 2014

Introducing the litter....
What lovely names the PM has chosen.
New owners are of course welcome to choose whatever names they wish.
Our names are for ID purposes only. It just sounds better than 'the red boy' etc.
The PM of course likes to coochee-coo and tickle tummies while calling them by name.
We often get jealous of all the attention the pups get, but we love how she loves our babies.

October 8 to 11, 2014

The PM thinks this is the look that my lovely Lulu is giving me says in People language
"see what you've done to me?"
All the while she is saying "How I wish she would put that camera away"

Somehow the PM got this photo out of focus, but I asked her to post it anyway.
It is to show size by comparison to TD (The Dog on the right which is part of the family but certainly not one of ours)

Four days old and already the birthing collars have had to be replaced.

My lovely wife Lulu is so content.
Not as content as the puppies though - aren't they too gorgeous for words?
